About me
I am a fully AAT licenced and qualified bookkeeper with almost 20 years' experience working in finance in various public sector organisations (HM Prison Service, NHS and Higher Education).
I hold the following qualifications:
I am conscientious and enthusiastic, hardworking individual with extensive experience and knowledge in Financial and Management Accounting, Business Review Processes, Student Admissions and system development. I am highly organised and efficient, with excellent administration skills in addition to leading and managing staff, ensuring flexibility, conscientiousness, commitment and organisation and dedication to achieving optimum results. I work well individually under my own initiative as well as being part of a team or leading a team, learning new tasks quickly and always seeks learning opportunities to enhance existing skills and knowledge. One of my major projects in the last year was leading an Operational review of a large academic programme with the aim of reducing operating costs where appropriate, enabling production a more efficient and effective programme. I have gained invaluable skills, knowledge and experience in finance, business administration and support throughout the last 20 years and am proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word skills, having used them both expensively through my career.
